Hi my name is Colin Guenther, and I am currently working at Saskatoon Open Door Society as an English for employment teacher. I help to develop students’ English language abilities related to the work environment. I previously taught LINC classes to a variety of levels of students for about 3 years. Before my experience teaching in Saskatoon, I was teaching nursing students in Korea for about 4 years where I developed and taught English for nursing combined with pronunciation. Since this time, I have tried to incorporate pronunciation for all of my students along with the material that I have been required to teach. Finally, I taught at the U of S Language Center for 2 ½ years for my initial experience with EAP. I hope this gives you a good idea of my experience as an ESL teacher.
