Our three awards and bursaries help provide opportunities to access professional development, celebrate the contributions and achievements of TESL professionals, and create opportunities for ESL students to enhance their skills through post-secondary education.

The TESL Sask Lifetime Award of Merit is awarded to language training professionals and current TESL Sask members for outstanding service in the TESL field; either remarkable contributions in the areas of classroom teaching, administration, professional development or community involvement; and goes above and beyond the standard expectations in their career.
The TESL Sask Student Bursary is awarded annually to a recent immigrant or refugee for the purpose of further education and training.
The Jake Kutarna Memorial PD Credit is a $100 TESL Sask professional development credit awarded annually for the purpose of further training and collaboration.
