They will share sample daily schedules with some useful tips and top Avenue.ca tools that will make the teacher's life easier. This webinar is not about how to use certain functions in Avenue.ca nor about how to lesson plan for an online lesson.They will provide the links for those "how-to" questions.
Presenters
Robin Peace
Robin Peace, HBA, BEd, MA TESOL, has taught English language learners in Africa and the Middle East, as well as in a Canadian university and college. She currently teaches a mix of literacy and non-literacy learners in a multi-level LINC hybrid class (CLB 2-4) at the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association. She serves as the PBLA Lead. She also works part-time as an Academic Coach for the TWU MA TESOL Program.
Chayan Mallick
Chayan (MA Applied Linguistics, CELTA, TESL Ontario, LIT2T) has almost 20 years of ESL teaching experience in Canada, England and Bangladesh. She has been teaching at Saskatchewan Polytechnic as a LINC Instructor since 2013. Currently, she is teaching a CLB 7/8 class. She is also the Lead Instructor of the Blended/ Online LINC Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Chayan is also an online mentor/ trainer for LearnIT2Teach training courses.
