| For our BC based TESL Saskatchewan members and our TESL friends: Friday, January 31, 2020 10:30 AM-12:30 PM Vancouver Community College Broadway Campus, Room A3500 1155 East Broadway, Vancouver Cost: FREE In these Self-Studies monthly sessions, instructors and administrators are invited to join conversations in teaching and learning. The facilitation of these sessions is peer-led, and they each have a different monthly focus in keeping with the mission and vision of SIETAR BC and BC TEAL. After 5 very interactive and successful sessions in 2019, we are back with 4 more iterations in the series, covering a wider array of topics you asked for! Presenting to you, The Self Studies Series, Sessions 6, 7, 8 and 9. These sessions are hosted by Vancouver Community College through the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and are free for SIETAR BC Members, BC TEAL Members, and VCC employees. All sessions will be in room A3500 and light refreshments will be provided. Led by Shantel Ivits, this session will focus on Gender. We will be exploring: The Gender Unicorn – Trans Student.
