- Decoupling the Admin Fee for Program Delivery
- There have been ongoing communications with the Umbrella Settlement Organizations across Canada via CISSA-ACSEI about ways that the current financial reporting requirements can be altered so that the settlement sector is able to maintain healthy and sustainable operations during these challenging times.
Because of these ongoing communications, IRCC has agreed for the entire FY 2020-2021 to decouple the admin fee from program delivery. This means that service providers can count on the admin fee they negotiated without fear of it dropping due to slippage created by fluctuating program delivery during COVID-19.
