This Korean-Canadian film by Anthony Shim is a critically-acclaimed TIFF winner and also won Best Original Screenplay at
the Canadian Screen Awards. The story is about a Korean single mom moving to Canada with her son in 1990s and there’s some theme
regarding racism experienced at school by teachers/students so there’s a connection to Canadian educational system. The storyline will
resonate with many immigrant families and local residents from parents/children/teachers/students perspectives.
