MCoS Multicultural Honours Award

Multicultural Honours will be a virtual event this year with the two awards presented at Government House. MCoS invites you to watch livestreaming of the in-person award ceremony from the comfort of your home.
You can register to attend the virtual award ceremony here.

Multiculturalism Matters in this Election

MCoS encourages you to advocate for multiculturalism. Specifically, you can raise the awareness of candidates in your riding that issues related to multiculturalism are important to you and that you make voting decisions at least in part by considering how platforms reflect multicultural values. MCoS has outlined four multicultural values that inform our work; the Saskatchewan Multiculturalism Act (1997) and the Canadian Multiculturalism Act (1985) support them. We present these values below along with questions you could consider asking during this election campaign.
Find provincial registration info here.

MCoS Member Support on Virtual Transition

We recognize that many of the activities that normally take place in the multicultural community from events, to festivals, to conferences to education are facing challenges with ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. We are holding a session for members about how some activities can take place virtually. Register here for MCoS Member Virtual Transition Zoom Meeting. It will be on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Please respond to a short survey by Thursday, October 15 to help us prepare to meet your needs. It will take less than 5 minutes to complete. We always appreciate your input!

Multicultural Festivals and Innovation

Let's discuss innovative ways to both share culture at a deeper level and celebrate diversity safely at festival events. Register for Multicultural Festivals and Innovation Zoom Meeting here. It will take place on October 28, 2020 at 1:30– 3:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!
