2020 Elections: Advocate for Libraries

SLA has created a document to help you advocate for libraries in the 2020 provincial and municipal elections. The handout describes the important role of libraries in Saskatchewan communities. You can read and download the message here.

We have also sent a letter to party leaders in the provincial election.

If you have questions or comments, please contact Dorothea Warren at [email protected].

SLA Programs

Don't forget: Culture Days is winding down and will end on October 25.
Saskatchewan Library Week begins October 18 and ends October 24.

SLA has produced 8 videos featuring Saskatchewan
Writers and Artists. The videos can be viewed here. They will be available on the SLA website for at least a year.

The Book Spine Poetry Contests open until November 1. Use
books from your own library or visit your local library and create a poem from the spines of your chosen books.

Don't forget to visit your local library and tell library workers how much you appreciate their resilience and creativity!
