This interactive presentation will provide opportunities for demonstrations and discussions of a wide variety of free online resources for language teachers to use in their synchronous, aschronous or hybrid classrooms, as well as tips for how to use them to promote effective active learning in the classroom.
Presenter: Rebecca Hiebert
Rebecca Hiebert (B.Ed, M.Ed) is a Manitoba-based CCLB Regional coach who also currently works at the Red River College Language Training Centre to provide PBLA and program support. A teacher at heart, she has been an instructor in many different educational settings, from K to 12, to adult ESL and a CLB teacher training course. During the pandemic, she expanded her knowledge of online learning and technology, and learned how to make videos and use H5P.
