This webinar is part of the Professional Learning Sessions series developed by the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks (CCLB). In any class, learners have different levels of ability in different skill areas whether the class is labeled multilevel or not. How can a teacher manage and deliver valid assessment in a multilevel class? Multi-level Assessment: The Basics provides a framework and method to determine which levels to target in a class in each skill area and to stay aligned to the Canadian Language Benchmarks for each level assessed.

Learning Intents:

Review the purpose and goal of multilevel assessment

Use Skehan’s Framework to adjust a task for multiple levels

Create a class profile to plan for assessment
